Kweeny Beasting Update.

I know it's been a while, but I've been really busy, not to mention fighting off flares and other body bullshit. Sometimes I get really tired of everything being so hard. Every simple little action. Like getting up to get a drink, or dealing with mundane shit like my neighbors cutting down trees so I cant record and I get a delightful asshole headache. Like I need one of those on top of everything.

I guess if I am honest, I haven't wanted to post here because I dont want to complain about my life. And it seems to me like I come here to complain. I don't mean for that to be the case. I want to help others who might be on a similar journey, to show them at the very least that they aren't alone with these chronic illness struggles.

So here's some shit I am proud of doing recently, to show you that no matter how shitty it gets, you can still do things to better your world. Sometimes, they come in the most unexpected of places.

I re-started my youtube channel recently! I got quite a few videos on there too. I am having a blast learning new things, and it can be very stressful sometimes too. I made making videos a part of my life. My friends are very understanding if I say I can't do something, and I appreciate all the support I have been given. I wanted to do this for years, so I am proud I finally did it. Here;s the link if you like horror and weirdness: https://www.youtube.com/user/KweenyTodd

I have been coping mostly well with everything. I get frustrated a lot still, but I don't hang on to it. I use it to find creative solutions to my problems now. I am a strong person, but even I need a hand sometimes. I can't do everything as much as I want to. I can however, work on the things I love and make them the best I can offer. Dropping the comparisons to others as much as I can helps me focus on myself more. I'm not interested in serious relationships with anyone romantically. There is something rather freeing in it. Knowing I am strong enough without BULLSHIT PEOPLE in my life is freeing. I'm not apologizing anymore for how I live my life. And I am not tolerating abusive people either.

I am very picky who I hold close, and I am honored I have so many awesome supporters, viewers, and friends. I love ya all Monsterkids. You know who you are. ;)

Anyhow, hope this quick update lets you all in on what I've been doing and how I am coping. Today is a hard day, but I am not letting that stop me. I have lots of hard days. Some no one hears about. Because sometimes, you need to take care of your own mess before you can help anyone else with theirs.

Remember that. It's not selfish to learn better self care and worth.

I won't make the same mistakes again.

Pain Journal: New Psyche Doctor!

I got a new Psychiatrist today, and I can safely say all my worries about another new doc were for not. He was awesome and a great listener. He was better to me than my last one. He actually asked me questions like “How did you get your PTSD at night?” and “Why hasn’t your doctor tried these things with you?” and “You’ve only been seeing people for help after you had your break a few years ago? REALLY? You’ve been trying to do it mostly on your own?”

I had to give him a reader’s digest version of my life up until now. How living with a drug addict and seeing so many doctors chop my mother up from the inside out just made me afriad to try. The most I did was go to therapy. I have carried on and not killed myaelf because of really awesome friends and lovers in my past. Some I hurt too much by being Bipolar Q. That version of me is a hilarious asshole, but still an asshole. I had to summarize decades of horrible crap into an hour and even then, I think he was impressed. He said I had good self awareness, and that I don’t have to do things the hard way. He is adjusting my meds, doing the blood work needed, and gave me more Seroquel and a new drug, Gabapentin.  I have tried Gabapentin before, I now it helps. It is good for both pain and calming of anxiety. SCORE!  Seems I am on a winning streak with doctors. I am still leery, But the way this new doctor listened to me and cares about my being stable and productive. He knows the dangers being on drugs for mental illness can cause. The side effects and the madness.  He is going to teach me to use the meds I have to help me through the bad times. Because when the Bipolar gets bad, I struggle still through it. The Depression makes me suicidal, and the Mania makes me do crazy shit. Reckless, stupid shit. “When it’s bad, take extra Lithium and Seroquel. And don’t forget the Gabapentin. It’s okay to do this because I give you permission. Just do this when you are having a rough time. Otherwise take your meds as you normally do. And if you like how the gabapentin works with your other meds, take it at night for your sleep issues.”

He’s so…practical about it. I need that, because I respond well to practical. Give me a road map and I will work with it. I might find a new path on my own, but I will let you know if I do. He gets that I know my body and mind better than he does. But he sees my pension for making things hard. I thought I wasn’t being that bad, but I have been corrected. So I have new meds, new adjustments. Hopefully I don’t become a zombie, but I don’t think I will. I do everything I can to balance my medications and my creativity. I wont let anything kill me and make me a drugged slave. Drugs for me are to make my life easier and stable, not repressing myself to stave off madness.

I want to be a good example people can turn to when they face the choice to take any medication to give themselves a better quality of life. I need meds to function. I am literally a danger to myself and others if I am not medicated. When my brain broke last, it broke in a way it can’t come back from. Like an overheating computer. It’s hard to recall things when you are constantly having blue screens and corrupted data. I have bad genes, but it’s just another fucking stupid thing I gotta work with.

I’ve been climbing walls my whole life. I know who and what I am, good and bad. I know I don’t have an easy lot in life, but I also don’t need to punish myself for having a chemical imbalance. I look forward to a day when I can say I am in remission completely. It might not happen, but I can still strive for it.

I don’t want to get my hopes up about anything right now, so I tip-toe into the deep end and see if I can swim.

Endings and More Endings

The 9th is my mother’s birthday, and today I broke up with someone.  These two things have collided in my brain, and now I am completely miserable. I’ve spent my whole life trying to escape the curse of my mother. We all get things from our parents. Like the color of our eyes, or the shape of our chins. But we also get things like Depression, Anxiety, or in my case Bipolar 1 with psychotic tendencies. This is part of the curse I carry, but also there is another element that my mother gave me through environment:

I’m the worst person you could ever fall in love with.

EVER.

It’s not from lack of trying on my part. I really do try. I feel things so fucking deep I almost drown in it. I fall hard and fast. Like a freight train through my heart. I can’t stop it. All I can do is ride it out to the bitter end. Which happens with such frequency I am braced for impact. From the moment the relationship starts a timer ticks in the back of my head. It’s loud and obnoxious, but it knows the score. Doesn’t matter how many times they say they love you. Doesn’t matter how many times you said it back, and meant it. None of it matters in the end. It’s easily swept under the rug and erased as fast as you can hit the Block button.

Back to my mother and how she cursed me: I watched her deal with broken hearts, mental illness, drug addiction and abusing everyone close to her. I saw the kinds of people she surrounded herself with. Junkies and street kids, bikers and rapists. That was my normal growing up. I lived through that, and then ended up on the street, only to drag myself slowly over time into better places. My love life is a road map of loss and pain. As I moved from city to city, I carried my mother’s curse with me. The curse of failed romance. The curse of never finding true acceptance or love. Love especially. Love would always be hard for me. I watched my mother go from man to man, sometimes them abusing her, sometimes she abusing them. A constant cycle of toxicity. I learned to swim in toxic waters. I had no other choice, other than dying there.

Believe me, I have thought about death hard all my life. I’ve watched someone die in front of me. I’ve had a gun in my mouth and inside me. I’ve been woken up with punches and death threats. My normal isn’t a normal place. I know curses only have power if you believe in them. But some curses believe in you. And you feel their tendrils when your heart is broken. Like it is today. I can feel it cracking in my hands. I was reckless and let someone in deep. I tried in my own way to warn him about the curse. He was a gentle soul, and I’m not. I gave it a shot and now it’s over. I thought he was strong enough, that maybe I got lucky again. When it was good it was fantastic. He made me laugh, he danced with my dreams. They all do in some way though. Every lover I have ever had was devoted to me…for a time. That’s what someone who loves deeply does for you. That’s my special offering to my lovers.

But maybe I am done doing this poly thing. Maybe I am a horrible person to love, but a great lay. Too crazy for this world. They always tell me that. From the shadows and to my face. Too much they say. They can’t handle me. Intense is thrown around a lot.

But of course, I am too hot to handle. I’m made of lava under my rocky surface.

No one will say I haven’t tried all these years to overcome the odds. From the time I was born until now, I have always been digging trenches and surviving the apocalypse. For me life feels like that. It rarely feels calm or peaceful. I feel like I am having a battle every day, several times a day, and because of it, I can’t connect like a sane person with people. I try to reach for them in the shadows, and in so doing, try to show them it’s nice here in the dark. Yeah, things are creepy, weird and monstrous inside my heart. But that’s where I live and flourish.

I don’t expect everyone to stay with me in the deep dark. But visit once in a while is all I ask. I think he really did try.

My mother cursed me once, and told me no one was going to love me for long. *looks over at husband* I keep working on that relationship because no matter how badly we hurt each other or how rough things get, we never give up. It’s a beautiful thing what I have with my husband. But I’m really lost in the past and present pain. So much shit has happened in the last 6 months. So many shitty things like scary roommates, a quick burning love affair, and almost breaking it off with my husband. It’s been a painful train ride and I want to get off now.

So as I grieve over the past and my lost innocence, I also grieve over another lover gone. One who looked me dead in the eyes and told me he loved me.

Love is a fickle mistress.

Am I cursed? Do I really believe in it or want it to dictate my life? Maybe I should just admit defeat and lock up my heart. I’ll find better ways to fill this ache for others. I’ll survive this. It’s what I do. But it still cost me. Forgive me if I need to lick my wounds for a while. I only have a couple things left to say on this before I have a short visit to the abyss...

I will miss you Coyote.

And burn in hell Mother.

My House

Addendum 2017: I find myself once again finding comfort in these words. The trauma I have endured lately reminds me of this piece. Because I refuse to be silent this time. If people are going to hurt me, they should know as a writer I will use that hurt and turn it into art. I've changed a few things, but kept the essence of the piece. I could use a few fuses tossed my way if you got them to spare.

Addendum 2013: I sometimes need to read old posts I've written, to remind me where I am or where I've been. I also...get all editor on my shit too when this happens. Hence why this has now popped up in my feed when I wrote it like 2 years ago. Feel free to comment, because honestly, it's still relevant. I think it's the best metaphor I have come up with for the struggles I have with mental and physical illness.

Note:
I wrote this originally when I was living apart from Bear.

***
Yesterday I was feeling more low than I have felt in years. My husband, being the wise man he is, told me this very appropriate metaphor to explain how I, and probably most people, deal with tragedy in their lives.

Each of us lives in their own house. Our houses are our bodies. Our souls live in the house. We have lots of things hooked up to the wall jacks that take power. TV's, fridges, computers, etc. All these things are plugged into a main power source, the fuse box, that keeps the house warm and things going with energy.

Outside the house is a terrible snow storm. Call it the looming shadow of Death if you will. Because death is always with us. We may ignore it, we may have nicely warmed up houses with all the energy we could possibly need to power our "devices", but it's still there. It will always be there.

Now, call the devices things like work, children, friends, family, whatever. Anything that demands your energy. Even if the demand is wonderful. Hell, everyone loves having a TV right? Watching shows and movies is fun! But still, your time, your focus, your energy is put into that device while you have it plugged in.

So what happens when things go wrong? Why is it some people can handle stress better than others? Why is it some people endure more than they should, or fall apart in sometimes spectacular ways?

Some people are lucky. When their house was built it was on the right property (support), for the right price (financial stability), in the right neighborhood (family), etc. They just got it made. They barely have an issue, and if they do, they can't usually handle it well, because it's not normal. So if they have an issue, a fuse blows in their fuse box. It's cold for a while. Remember, it never stops storming outside. It may be beautiful to look at sometimes, or terrifying to face, but it's there. And it will take you and your house down when it's time.

So if a person who is fairly stable and secure looses a fuse they may handle it well the first time, or that may make them freak out. They may be terrified of the storm. They have a few choices on how to deal with it, as we all do when the fuses go out.

1) We endure. We huddle under the blankets and just go numb. It hurts for the first little while, because cold sucks, but eventually you become so numb you feel nothing anymore. Sadly, lots of people do this one. This is when you see a soulless look in someone's eyes, or you hear them say, " No big deal" when their husband is beating them senseless, you get the idea. I myself have done this, but very little. I don't endure this state well. I'm not built for it.

2) You decide to take action. Fuses are not gonna come to you overnight. You may have to mail them in, (because you cant leave the house) or wait for someone to come to your door. The thing is, you can go to other people's houses, as long as you don't leave yours. (Just pretend that makes sense. On a spiritual level it does, not a rational one. If our houses are our bodies, and our souls live in the house then yes, like turtles, we carry our home with us.) So someone may give you a fuse. But if these things don't happen, your only option now is pennies. You put pennies, which is a temp fix but it works, into the fuse box. Your fuse has blown because too much was plugged into the circuit. You have been overloaded with emotion, stress, whatever. Even good things can blow a fuse if they are intense enough. Trust me, I've blown more than I can count.

3) This is the option that is the most painful, but sometimes all people can see. Sometimes, it's all that is left. Because a Fuse Box isn't about rationality. It's about stability. It's about the mental functions of a being. It's the heart of the matter. So sometimes, when all you see is a broken fuse box that pennies can't fix anymore, and huddling under blankets isn't helping, and no one brought you a fuse and you have no money to mail in some, well...

You choose to go outside.

This is suicide folks. Because eventually the house will burn down, or your house will be so beyond repair and you wait inside for winter to take you. But if you choose to go outside, well, you've chosen your death. I am not condoning suicide here. I'm not saying it's a great choice. But sometimes, for the people in the house that's breaking down, it's all that they can see. If your mental fuse box is so damaged, and your blanket is a thin sheet...

You might choose to just face death.

So now that I explained the metaphor to you, let me explain the state of my house. How it's been, and how it is now:

My house was built on a grave yard, in a "bad side of town" where drug dealers, pimps and thieves run rampant. My house floods, and was made with shitty materials. I have ghosts that haunt me. My house's fuse box is wired funny, and the fuses have been blowing (and I mean all of them) my entire life. People try to break in and steal my shit. I don't have much, but they try to anyhow. They try to break in and when they cant just take the shit, they sit in my living room and play with my Xbox, get drunk, trash the place and leave. They use my energy to power my stuff, but I don't get to touch it. Sometimes I snap once the fuse box has taken too much, and I kick their sorry asses out, or I beat them to a pulp.

Even though they were gone, the fuse box has never fully recovered. I was always low on fuses and I chose to keep putting pennies in. I didn't want to be a numb zombie. I wanted to feel, but the problem is I feel too much. So lots of energy is expelled all the time to keep myself open to emotion and the slim chance of happiness and friendship/family. And with the faulty wiring in my house, the way people abused my space, the way I am always low on fuses (I never seem to have enough money to buy my own, everything costs something), it's not easy to heat my house or run appliances. Sometimes I have to unplug everything. Sometimes, I get mercies and people come over to my house (once I let them in, I find it hard to trust now) and offer a fuse. I don't ask were it comes from. I just take it as a gift it is and thank them. My hope is the gift is given without strings. (Sometimes it's not and that hurts too) I'll even let them use my Xbox once the fuse is in, because why not share the precious energy they have given me? I am all about offering whatever small graces I can to those who are good to me, as long as my kindness isn't abused.

This is how I live my life. Sometimes I try to fix the wiring in my fuse box, but I am not an electrician. I can read books all I want and go to all the counselors in the world, but in the end, my Fuse Box is what it is. Some things might be re-wired, or I might have a period of all fuses lit, but in the end I am different. My experiences and my soul is just different. My needs are just different. I will never be like the other houses around me, or the people who lovingly visit.

And right now, my Fuse Box is on the fritz. Someone I thought was a friend turned out to be an invader and used my Xbox without asking me, while I have too many things plugged into the circuit sucking my energy. It's not a right to be in my space, it's a privilege. Just as it is if I am allowed into yours. But because I let her in once, she figured it was an open invite, when it's not. She didn't consider my house has some rules set in because I need to protect myself. Like for example: Every damn time I want people to ask to be let in, because I have been abused. Pretend your a vampire if it helps you remember. And I have that right. It's my life and my house. Don't just assume you get a free pass to my inner world. Only Bear does. And he fucking earned it.

So now I am left with a mess to clean and a broken fuse box. I'm staring at all the fuses blown, all the pennies in there trying to keep it together going, "I haven't been this fucked up since I left home the first time." And I am staring at the door. Very intently. I am my mother's child, as much as I hate it. Her specter is always with me, even on the days I ignore it. I have similar instabilities I probably inherited from her that I fight constantly throughout my life. Right now, I am staring at the door. I see the storm outside, and for this moment, it's a siren song. "Just end it. End the pain. Come to me. I will blanket you in my embrace. No one will ever hurt you again. Peace is here in the white."

I stare at my fuse box, the one I've tried so very hard to fix, and cry.

I stare at my thin little sheet, the one that does shit-all for me but it was all I could afford to deliver in, and cry.

I need more fuses than I can afford. I can't get them on my own.

These are my interpretations of Bear's words, but the essence is the same. And after he explained this to me, he said to me in the most heart wrenching voice I have ever head him use, "Please Baby, I beg you, don't go outside."

sighs

Words cannot convey the pain I feel, or the love I have for that man. He gave me a fuse in that moment. A small one, but it was enough. Enough to put it in my fucked up Fuse Box to carry on for a little bit longer. Enough to turn away from the door.

I'm not better. Not by a long shot. And though I have turned away, the winter outside still calls to me. My mother's face in her coffin is haunting me like a vivid mirage.

Maybe one day, my fuse box will stop exploding. Maybe one day, I'll have enough fuses, and I can share my house with my husband. He's already got a key, and pretty much makes himself at home here anyhow.

Maybe one day. Just not today.

A Eulogy of Shadow Words (poem)

In this life
We are given gifts we choose to be curses
Taking our words
And twisting them into furious verses.

[A eulogy of shadow words...]

She spent years studying calligraphy.
Using pen and ink
Imitating the ebbs and flows
Of words
creating a paragraph of water
Her poetry and prose
Going down stream.
All letters, perfectly aligned
Knowing their exact place
On the page.

Knowing their purpose.

Her hand, moving with need.
Furiously scribbling.
Intent on raw images.
Writing was art for her
The art of passion
The art of war
As ink turned to poison in her pen.
Cloaked in the flesh of regal letters
They changed, rearranged
and became stained words.

I weep as they bite me.

All letters, perfectly aligned
Knowing their exact place
On the page.

Knowing their purpose...

And yet, she could not see,
Could not grasp in her hands
That the pen
Is mightier
Than a fist.
Mightier still
Than the bruises
Written on her soul.

So instead
She tasted the rainbow and closed her eyes,
One candy coated pill at a time,
Until I forget what she looked like
When she smiled.
Until I forget if I ever saw her smile.

In this life
We are given gifts we choose to be curses
Taking our words
And twisting them into furious verses
Words that crackle, words that burn
Words turned to ash in the bottom of your urn.

[A eulogy of shadow words...]

I can't help but wonder,
If all that will remain of me when I'm gone
Are shadow words.

Reflections of a Queerwolf

Reposting this here, cuz it's important to me. It's an old piece of writing I did, but it explains my gender issues pretty well.

--
[http://www.huffingtonpost.com/tedtalks/io-tillett-w…

This needs to be shared. Got me right in the feels, and I tried really hard to keep it together. Made it up to her statement on "the multiplicity of humanity" and couldn't stop the tears. Damn. And tonight my friends finally asked me what pronouns I really prefer.

So here it is folks. For those who want to know, I prefer Them, Ze or Hir. I won't force you to see my gender. I won't stuff It down your throat or anything, but you will see me brighten if you use these in reference to me. It will touch me to see you make that choice yourself, to decide to acknowledge my gender identity all on your own without my probing. This is how I choose to do things, and I don't recommend it for everyone. I won't feel hurt or less if you call me she, because I -know- who I am. Even when I wear feminine things, I am gender queer. I don't stop being so in a corset. I know I am "grey" and walk in a blurred gender space. I don't need anyone to validate who I am.

But if you choose to use my preferred pronouns, you can. And it will warm my heart to be accepted and acknowledged by you.

It's okay if you forget or mess up. We all do when learning. I have before, will likely do so again. As long as people try.

Its the trying that makes the world a better place.

I'm not going to argue about how someone pronounces something. Hir is third on my list of pronouns because it can be confusing, so Them and Ze are actually more preferred for me. For the record. I express the multiplicity in myself in many ways, hence Them.

And please, no bashing or hate. If this is not your preference, ignore this post and move on. But if you wish to try to understand, I hope you will read this and watch this video.

Pain Journal's Greatest Hits: I'm Not Okay - My Chemical Romance

I'm Okay.

Don't mind the bags under my eyes. Or how hollow they look when you look deep enough. Or the fact that my eyes are half glazed from medications, and half empty from pain. The pain is really bad, but it could be worse. I've been down this road before. What's hurting me this moment is my mental state, not my pain levels. I'm trying every trick I know to keep myself as present as I can be. Because everything inside me wants out today. It doesn't help today is the inauguration of Trump. I'm not someone who can pretend this guy doesn't look like a train wreck straight to hell. My friends are all scared and horrified. Except for the odd ones who support him, and confuse me to no end. How can anyone support someone who has no real respect for human life? He's an abuser. Classic behavior. I have spent my whole life trying to get away from his kind, and instead I find myself being in a country ruled by one.

But I'm Okay right?

Yeah I got nothing to worry about. Just struggling to have my dreams in a world set on crushing them before they even start. I'm crying a lot this week. For frustration, for mourning, for even having normal reactions to too much stress. I can barely survive day to day, and I'm living in a really shitty situation right now I can't fix easily because guess what: EVERYTHING COSTS MONEY. All hail the almighty Trump Dollar. I'm just over reacting...

I'm totally Okay.

I just had to take extra seroquel last night because of how manic depressive I am right now. I started hearing voices again. That's a scary place to be. So I did what you do when a flare up of your bipolar happens and it scares you: You take more drugs. Then those drugs numb you down to the core and you sleep all the time...

I think I'm Okay...

But I also think about horrible things that haunt me like ghosts. I think too much right now. On all levels. I have a laundry list of things to do and it feels like more things get tacked on then taken off. I am fighting off another nervous breakdown, because now would be a really bad time to be hospitalized again. I'm slowly trying to dig my way out of this mess I am in, but I'm not even at half battery. I'm not even sure I still have a battery to charge.

I'm not Okay.

And that's just fine. I'll take it day by day until I really am Okay again. Today is just not that day.

Kweeny's Pain Journal's Greatest Hits: Veteran of a Thousand Psychic Wars

Life doesn't pick favorites, even if it looks that way. Some people are extremely lucky. They know how to do crazy matrix moves through life, dodging bullets and carving out their life path with ease. It may not be that easy, but it sure looks like it from where I stand, looking up from the abyss. I envy those people. It's hard not to when your path is etched in pain and horror. It's hard to see the beauty of those few precious moments in your own life where things aren't that bad. Because there are so few of them, a battle weary warrior like myself can't keep a hold on those moments as easily as some. It's was trained into me at a young age that life will always be unfair, and not just unfair. Utterly and completely cruel. Because even those few moments of joy will be turned into a whirlwind of pain if I start overthinking everything, or I start listening to the voices that remind me of what a failure I am at living and thriving in life.

Some things just never leave you no matter how many times you rise from the ashes. Some scars come with you through each transformation.

Because the human body remembers all your suffering.

You're seeing now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars,
My energy is spent at last, and my armor is destroyed,
I have used up all my weapons, and I'm helpless and bereaved.
Wounds are all I'm made of!
Did I hear you say that this is victory?

I feel like the worst person to be in love with. Trying to find some living soil to plant seeds in is hard when your heart is a wasteland. I've messed up every relationship I have ever had, at one point or another. Not because I wanted to drive them away, but because I was scared. Scared that someone could love me the way I have always wanted in my secret heart. I wasn't picky the first time I prayed to God, asking for someone to love me. I was a good Catholic girl then. I had a prayer shrine and I talked to the Virgin Mary.  Still talk to her, but she wears different faces for me now. Being Pagan helped me open myself spiritually. But I just wanted to know real, loyal, passionate love. With anyone at all. I just wanted to know what devotion felt like. What compassion and inspiration would do to a soul as wounded as mine. My first reaction to pain and fear is to burn it all to the ground and salt the earth. I don't like this compulsion in me. Once upon a time I believed this was a good way to protect yourself from harm. It's not. It just denies you any chance of making love work for you.

Sometimes things change though. People grow tired of certain behaviors and so do you. Sometimes people die. Or you have to deal with toxic people because you got no where else to go. Or marriages fail. Or you just can't open up like you used to and it gets thrown in your face.

I am a veteran of a thousand psychic wars. My brain is full of trauma and weirdness. I will never be normal. Never be a nice girl you an take home to mom and dad. I have wounds that bleed on the regular. Reminding me I haven't left the war, because it lives deep inside me. Boneyards full of the dead and forgotten. I am not a nice girl. I'm not even a girl at all really.

I'm going through some hard shit that has driven me out of my home. Though in all honestly, that place isn't a home. I wish it was more of a rest stop, but certain factors make that difficult. I won't allow toxic people to force their way into my life. I've had more than my share of assholes in my life, and some of them I was born to. So I don't want to play out an old song and dance from my youth, but with different faces. I don't deserve to be treated badly. I don't treat myself as well as I should, but I know when someone is treating me wrong. Disrespecting my life and choices, and telling me how to handle my life. Unless you live in my skin, you don't get to do that. I won't allow it. Especially if your shit doesn't smell like roses.

Back into the fray. Because that is just where my luck takes me.

Make pain bend.
